Is Mr. Escalante a good teacher?
Good, no, I think Mr. Escalante was an excellent teacher. Very creative, extremely compassionate about teaching. He went above and beyond. Teaching night classes, weekend classes and summers for no compensation. He took the time to get to know the students and did not just teach academics but also taught life lessons. We all make mistakes, and he made a few, but in the bigger picture he was exceptional.
